Default Dinning on Legend

Dose anyone know if they use the windjamer as the alternet dinning and fiso how is the food selection. We sail the 10th from Harwich Eng, and need to pack ( Wife) for one more dressy evening if the food is as bad as on the Elation with no selection. Teach

Hi Teach,
Yes, they do use the Windjammer as an alternate dinning room. The food we had in the Windjammer cafe on board Explorer was very good, great selection. Although I only ate there for breakfast and lunch, so I couldn't compare how the dinner was there, but if was anything like lunch, no problem.

Happy Cruising

Thank you for taking the time to answer. We also enjoyed the breakfast and lunch in the windjamers on our many cruises aboard Rccl's fleet since they went to the format on the Soverign but have never tried it at night as an alternet dining place. We tried the food at night on both the Carnival Dynasty and Elation and were not impressed though it was fine in the morninr and at lunch. And on the Dawn Princess we found the same food repeated each night at least for the anaugeral.

We recently cruised the Med for 12 days. We had dinner in the Windjammer several evenings and enjoyed it. The food was good and offered a nice variety. This was the first cruise we didn't eat in the dining room every evening. Our tours were so long and we were so tired at the end of the day we preferred to go more casual. Needless to say I packed way to many dressy clothes. We also had the late seating for dinner and sometimes we didn't finish eating in the dining room until 11pm.
