Well, last week I made the final payment for our cruise in Oct. Then I got on the scale........NOT GOOD. I need to lose 10lbs to fit into my cruise clothes. As of yesterday it was 4 down, 6 to go. When do you start? I plan to board early to start eating!!!
This time I started six weeks ago for my December 29, 2001 cruise. If you are looking for an excellent way to lose weight...try Weight Watchers Winning Points. It really, really works.

I agree with Mary Lou, Weight Watchers is the way to go. You'll be amazed at how many grams of fat we consume each day without realizing it. I started my pre-cruise diet the begining of August for my November cruise..but I need to drop more than 10lbs. Whats the worst that can happen...I buy a new wardrobe, what a shame!
I started telling myself I needed to REALLY diet back in March. I don't think I was listening...so, now that we're 3 months away, I'm being very concientious about what I eat. I desperately want to get into a black dress I have, and if I make that goal, I'll be thrilled!
Funny you should mention Weight Watchers. Last Fri I went to Weight Watchers, they were closed but I saw the lights were still on, so I banged on the door. A very nice lady let me in when I explained it was an emergency 911 type... I was out of my 2 point candy bars. She let me buy a case (24 boxes) even tho they had cashed out for the night. It was that or ice cream at night!!
Yup, tried those too Mary Lou. (That rhymes) I never actually joined Weight Watchers but my chubby hubby did so I followed the program with him. That's how I got hooked on the candy bars. PS, My hubby dropped out. If you see him on the Summit don't let him know I talked about him, ok? Mary Lou, have you tried the Wow potato chips? Yummy and no fat.
Hi - I just joined Weight Watchers yesterday (as Mary Lou knows). I need to lose so I can fit in some cruising clothes - hope I'm starting early enough for my January 4th sailing on the Summit. But, I still want to be able to look forward to enjoying Celebrity's excellent food. Of course that's part of how I put on the pounds - eating too good on my past cruises.
Four pounds in a week though is wonderful!!! My sister has taken metabolite, and lost 15lbs. but it comes off very slowly. (but stays off easier). I also pre-cruise diet, but I just watch my fat content--I get fat free everything, or eat lean cuisine for lunch and a light dinner.
good luck with it though--its sooooo hard to diet!!
P.S. I also love the WOW chips, and I can't tell a difference with fat free sour cream or mayo.
