As a confirmed chocoaholic, I like hot chocolate, chocolate chip cookies, chocolate brownies, chocolate ice cream, chocolate fudge, chocolate covered moth balls and nuts, chocolate desserts and basically anything with cocoa and sugar in it. However, I just don't care for the stuff they call white chocolate. I realize that many of you probably do, but I just wish they would find some other name like white gunk or white stuff. Anyone else agree with me?
It is not officially REAL chocolate! Sorry but since it only has cocoa butter in it, it is not considered real chocolate. To be real chocolate it must contain actual cocoa and white only has the butter in it.
When chocolate is very cold and it gets some white on it, that is not a sign of old chocolate but rather the cocoa butter rising to the surface. All chocolate has the cocoa butter in it but the REAL chocolate also has the solids in it.
Just some chocolate facts from a Dark Chocolate Lover.
