If you really want help......have her call us.....remember CruiseCam was on the Dream this summer. Tell her to choose the Ryndam.

What a trip!

The cruel things your boss and managers make you do. The sacrafices you make to make them happy.

I vote for HAL also but I have nothing to base that on.

Ahhhhh, the Ryndam, a fabulous ship, a wonderful crew. It would be my choice, always HAL over anyone else.

This reminds me of a choice I was given years ago in the USAF...go to Greenland or Saudi Arabia for one year or spend two years in France...like that's a choice???

Personally, I'd rather stay home than cruise NCL...far too many problems over too many years for me.

Hello CA,
Ryndam is the choice. Sailed the Zaandam this past Sept-Oct and it was the best. Someone once said that sailing NCL was like the Motel 6 of cruise lines.

More like Motel3. There is really no choice as to which one to choose.

I've yet to even attempt NCL, mostly because of reports that free style might not be my style.
HAL on the other hand always has the great crews.. who know royalty when they see it..

CA..not question they'd recognize your blue blood <G>

Check out the deck plans of the Dream. The pool area is terrible.
They used to have the terraced deck, and the pool, all together. You could look out and see the ocean.
Wen they stretched her, they added Suites, on either side of the pool, and you're all boxed in. It's like sitting in a steel pit. Then, to make it worse, they cut the deck in half, with a wall (brace) and you have to walk up stairs, across, and down stairs to get from the deck to the pool...
Not great on those sea days.......

Hi CA,

We are on the NCL Dream for the March 3rd and the 17th, South America cruise.

If we had our choice we would be on another ship but because of the itinerary Buenos Aires around the horn then up the West coast of S.A. and through the canal ending in Miami.

This way we would only have to fly one way.

The itinerary is more important to us than the ship.

I would do the Cape Horn cruise if I had to choose for you.

Let us know what you decide.

I whole heartily agree with Mgram. CA I don't think freestyle cruising is for you, you would have to tell your waiter ever night that you want mash potatoes. :-) I think you would have a better time on the Ryndam.

CA We want you in the Mariner's Society. There's simply no choice. Book HAL just for the fact that MANY experienced cruisers have learned that there's just no other equal in friendly service.

P.S. your cabin will be almost twice as large.

sure wish I was in your shoes....I'd have to pick HAL. We also did the Dream Baltic capitals and it was okay but I don't feel compelled to do another cruise with NCL.
Cape Horn is definitely on my wish list. Tell us all about it when you return.
