. . . . . and Happy Thanksgiving. This is truly a day to rejoice, to be positive, to remember the many things for which we should be thankful. May you all have a wonderful day, wherever you are, and may you countdown clocks speed up.
Good Morning and Happy Thanksgiving cruisemates.. Divetex.. love this mornings picture. One of my favorites I think.
So nice to see so many of you thinking of your friends, families and people in need today. It's certainly on my mind today as well.
My 84 yr old father is having surgery later today, and, of course, most of my "sleep" last night was spent thinking about what a GOOD man he was, and is.
He is the one of the most gentle men I have ever met in my life. He is, and has always been totally selfless. His worries, for as long as I can remember, were always for his wife, his children, his grandchildren, and his fellow man. Never for himself!
I'm not a religious person, but I got to thinking that with all the differences in all the various religions sharing this world, surely all would consider him a "good man" for these traits. Surely he's an example of what everyone's god would have envisioned man should be.
Today, as you celebrate your families, your friends, and life, please take a moment to say a prayer for all good men. With all the evil we've witnessed of late... we surely need them!
I give thanks not only to my family but to such wonderful and special friends that I have met on these cruise boards--I cant tell you how much you mean to me and the time that just being able to read the board have gotten me through hard days.
Cheers to all and thank you too !!!! where ever you are and all who are with you.
