Pre Let's Get Lei'd Cruise Plans

I was wondering if anyone has made any plans for a day or two before the cruise. Ginny said that it was too expensive to book a hotel through Celebrity, though I forgot to ask her just how much it was. Does anyone have any information on the pre-cruise through Celebrity? Has anyone made or considered any plans for a couple of days before the cruise? Does anyone know of a good place to stay?

Sherry... Theresa copied the right post. I still havent got the contracts, that's why I havent posted more. They must have mailed them rather than fax.
I've stayed at the Hawaiian Village before. Its just fabulous!
We're hoping to do 3 pre nights.

The Hilton Hawaiin Village Resort is a five star and has been reserved for the Let's Get Lei'd Group Cruise on the Summit 5/13/02. The price is $160.00 per room and not per person per night. What a deal!!!!!!! Just call Hilton's toll free number and let them know that you're with the Cruisemate Group and you'll get this fabulous deal.

I just got off the phone with the Hilton Hawaiian Village and they said they had no information about our group. I had them look under Cruisemates and then out of desparation, I actually said we're calling the trip the Let's Get Lei'd trip and that gave her a good laugh. But as of this minute nobody at the Village knew anything about us or the $160/night rate.

Thats true.. It wont go into their computer til I receive and sign the contract. Which hopefully will be soon.

I stayed there years ago and its a great hotel, great location and if Kuki can get those group rates there, great deal, so just stay tuned :-)

I tried to call in a reservation, too, and no luck! Now that I've decided to go, I'm over anxious :-) ! I'll try and control myself and wait for word from Kuki. I'm going to fly in on Sat. so I have a 2 night head start! Great hotel and excellent rate! I've never stayed there, just walked inside for a look! Susan will be cruisin'
