Default Countdown Clock

I think it is time to start my countdown clock for the Summit! I saw pictures of the Summit today and now I really can't wait! What a great looking ship! Some of you have been on the Millennium so you have an idea at least, I'm clueless so I've been hunting around for reviews and pictures and I finally found some of the public rooms! Pretty cool! I must figure out the number of days!!! Susan will be cruisin'

Hi Susan! We're excited too. My husband went and picked up a 2002 Celebrity brochure for Hawaii so we could read about the Summit and the cruise. I was also surfing the net looking for reviews and articles about the Summit. I can't believe I'm leaving for a cruise on Friday and I'm already getting excited about the next one!

Sherry - nothing like having one booked before leaving for the first. That is the only way to beat the cruise blues!

For all those booked on the Summit Let's Get Lei'd Cruise on 5/13/02 and do not have a brochure please email me.
Also for those wanting to spend hours at end reading up about the ports, geographical areas, history, monetary units, golfing and much much more let me know. I will send you one of our Weissman Travel Reports specifically designed for this cruise and personalized with your name on it. The report is 94 pages long but well worth reading.

Happy Cruising!

Susan,

It's 163 days!!! (That's til the cruise). Fewer days if you're going for a day or two pre-cruise! Can't wait until we're all there having fun!

Ginny ...

Monetary Units ??? I've heard people ask if American money is used in Alaska, so I guess Hawaii might raise questions, too.

163 days is TOO long. I'm thinking a little land cruise (St. Bart's?) might fit in the middle.

I alway find the anticipation to be as good as the realization... and in a way better than the last half of a cruise when I start thinking "most of it's over". I snap out of the 'funk' by anticipating how much fun it will be to research and plan the next one...lol.

Thanks Mgram,
I figured that out... and also that the board only supports limited HTML text decoration.

What??? A little too complicated for me! I'm technologically challenged and I really like all the countdown clocks I see, just haven't figured that one out yet! Sue

Travelnut, here is the text to use to get a countdown clock. Just change the date to the date of your cruise and add < and > to either end of the text.

Jeff you need to put < right in front of the i in img (no space, and > right after the 2 at the end (no space).

Jeff, also don't forget to change the date in the text to the date that you are cruising. You have to enclose the entire text inside these little thingies, whatever they are called: < >

Thanks, Pamda! Now if I could just remember that name. As I get older, "thingie" works for a lot of stuff I can't remember ;-)
