Do I need to pack a hairdryer?

I'm packing for my cruise to leave tomorrow - Are there hairdryers in the cabins? Please help as my suitcase is overflowing already! Thanks!

What ship and cabin category? Most of the new ships have hair dryers in the "upscale" staterooms. Unfortunately, they either smell like cigarette smoke are so underpowered as to be virtually useless. If you can spare some room (take out a pair of shoes?), take your own. Just my opinion.

The little international 1600 watt dryers fit in a shoe !!!

Even though the ships we have been on have had hair dryers.......my Deb always carrys her own...just in case...

I agree,the hair dryers on the ship just don't get the job done!! Just don't do as I did and forget it when it's time to leave.Had to purchase another one when I got home!!

Just don't use the outlet in the bathroom for a hair dryer

I have very short, fine hair and I still bring my little travel dryer. It works better than any I've seen on the ships. The handle folds and it fits in a corner quite nicely! Enjoy your trip! Sue

I would like to find the international 1600 watt hair dryer ,Pam referred to, for my Deb. What store would I look in for that one? Thanks
