Ft Lauderdale is doing it's darndest to make me feel at home. Cold and miserable <G>
Disembarking the Golden was a breeze. A bit teary eyed saying see ya to our cruising buds, off we went. Staying only one night at the lovely Marriott Harbour Beach, and too darn cold to take advantage of the beach and facilities.
Headed up the Festival Market on Sample road, and dragged our butts around there a bit.
The LONG airplane ride home tomorrow will allow me the time to put together some stories to share.
Glad you had a great time! Welcome home. Sorry about the weather.... We're freezing, here.
Last night, it got down to the 40's! Jacki and I lit a fire, in the family room, and roasted marshmallows. We huddled in front of the flames, and it was really romantic. We enjoyed it so much that we decided that we're going to have a fireplace put in.........
Next time you're going to have time in Florida, pre- or post-cruise, come on over and we can sit on the patio, listen to Marley and I'll make frozen thingees, and serve them in ship glasses........no coupon needed!
Welcome back to Sunny???? Florida, today reminded me why we left NY 28 years ago, sooo dreary all day. Festival is one of my favorite places, hope you got lots of great stuff there. Sorry we didn't get to see you today. Have a safe trip home, Harvey & I hope your dad is doing better. Looking forward to seeing you guys on your next trip down our way.
Just walked in the door a few minutes ago. Home safe and sound and already missing everyone. It was great putting faces to the names. Our thanks to everyone for their well wishes yesterday. It sure helped to be surrounded by friendly faces. Thanks
