I'll be on the Millie in a few days and I am certain we will have dinner at least twice that week in The Olympic restaurant. I understand about the $25 per person charge, but my question has to do with appropriate gratuities for the waiter and assistant waiter in this restaurant for those evenings. Though I have cruised many times, I have never dined in a restaurant that is this exclusive and I don't really know how much is appropriate. Thanks much.
There is no need to tip in the Olympic dining room. The $25.00 is basically the tip. But, please remember to tip the waiter and busboy in your regular dining room for the full 7 nights. They were still there to serve you even if you weren't.
I think you will really enjoy the Olympic. If you are a chocolate fan, order the chocolate mousse....it is great.
