OT - Thank you for the well wishes and prayers

I want to thank everyone for the well wishes I have received in email.
Losing Domino last night was awful. It was very unexpected and it seems she had this condition since birth and was doomed to die.
I will be taking the others in for tests on their hearts and xrays too.
This is too ensure that they do not have the same problem.

For those unaware:

I got home last night and one of my puppies (Domino) was grunting and groaning and couldn't breath well. (She was playing the night before and having fun and very normal.)
I took her to the vet and she died within 20 minutes. He said it was heart failure. Tests and xrays showed an enlarged heart and fluid in her lungs. She was only 10 1/2 weeks old. We will sell Zues. Oreo is almost 7 and Danes do not live long...the vet suggested that she may be too old to fix. Oreo has had some other problems that concerns him with putting her under. She has had surgery before and doesn't tolerate the anesthesia very well. It is too risky. Zues is from Champion bloodlines, so we don't want to fix him....so selling is the only option. I cannot go through this anymore.
I must do this in order not to lose another dane to death. Oreo may not survive the surgery. She almost didn't survive the last one. I would rather sell Zeus than to have Oreo die too. It is difficult but a decision that had to be made.

So sorry to hear about losing Domino yesterday. It's a very difficult time when you lose a dog or having to sell another!
