DT and CC checking in from the next-to-last sea day. Will have to post quickly, since it's almost time to start getting ready for dinner with the Captain tonight. It does pay to invite the captain for a drink of some fiery tequila. Thanks, Pat!
At bingo this morning, Timberhead won $141, and CruiseCam won $122. That's on top of the $47 we won on the loose slots last night. Nice way to enter the "going home" phase of our wonderful cruise.
We have had hors d'ouevres, chocolate-covered strawberries, etc. delivered to our cabin on 6 of the 8 evenings thus far. Nice.
The staff on this ship is, by far, the best and nicest we've encountered on any of our 17 cruises. Very, very nice. Without even asking, our waiter delivers 3 desserts per person each night at dinner. We happened to have him for our waiter at breakfast this morning, and after we were finished, he jokingly asked, "Are you ready for dessert?" I popped off, "Do you have any key lime pie left?" He told me to not go away. A short time later, he came back and placed in front of me a plate with three slices of key lime pie. For breakfast, even. CruiseCam, SeaFan, and Timberhead laughed at me all the way back to our stateroom. I had to clean out our refrigerator to make room for the plate. Will probably have to eat it this afternoon. Weluv2cruise, it was even better than the ones on the Millie!
Gotta go get ready for the Captain's table now. More tomorrow.
Ahoy back at ya from across the room!!! Having a great time and we are so glad we jumped aboard with you. Guess I better get off here to get ready for the big dinner with the Captain!! As you do know what I look like right now so it is going to take awhile. See you in a few!! <VBG>
Well when we board Monday should we even ask for key lime pie?We could not ask for a better way to start our Grandeur 11 day than to be reading your post each day.Its as if we are going to be doing a back to back without the key lime. Thanks for taking your cruise before us and letting us share.Leave the light on for us .

Here is a pic of the fiery Tequila that they are referring to....last Sept. when we could not get to the San Antonio weekend I could not get this bottle to DT & CC .... so last week, I hand delivered it to them in Miami. Mgram
