MIAMI, Florida (CNN) -- A female crew member of a cruise ship was being treated for dehydration Tuesday after falling overboard and treading water for 10 hours, said a spokeswoman for the ship's owner, Norwegian Cruise Lines.
10 hours! That would be a strong will to live. Very nice to hear a happy ending to that story.
Anyone every take a swimming life saving course? They teach you to tie your shirt tight at the waist, and blow into the neck for a crude life jacket. Believe it or not, it helps.
WOW,,,,,that's unreal,,,,,I can't even imaging what was going thru that poor girls mind,,,,thank god for late roll call,,,,Jo who's sitting here shaking my head in amazement.
All I can think of is how miserable she must have been to be in all of that water...yet become dehydrated. It's a horrible way to spend 10 hours..that's for sure!
Take CARE, All, and THANKS for the GREAT advice, Mermaid!

HOW DO THEY FALL ----- I MEAN, WHAT ACTIVITY REQUIRES THEM TO BE THAT CLOSE TO OR OVER THE RAIL???
I heard the news story on local news, but didn't get any details.
That is really horrible, treading water and worrying about sharks!
The news program said she was in the ship's infirmary. Any more details??
