From the Fayetteville (NC) Observer Times -- For nine months, members of the Graves family looked forward to a winter cruise to the Bahamas. Thirty-five people waited at the Graves' house in
Dillon, S.C. for a chartered bus that would take them to Port Canaveral, Fla. to board the cruise ship.
The bus never arrived. Fantasy Carnival, the cruise line, had canceled the 3 day, 4 night cruise in September. No one told the
group.
The trip had been arranged by Cross Creek Coach, AMA Travel
Unlimited INc. of Fayetteville. The company continued to accept payments from the group until February, according to those that planned to go on the trip.
AMA was the charter bus company used by Cumberland County schools for Massey Hill High School on a trip to Florida
last year that ended when a bus crashed on Interstate 95 in Georgia. On a personal note, we still have a family friend who bears the scars of that accident.
Be aware of cons like this. Don't deal with this company. These people have lost money and won't be cruising. The remainder of the article can be read at
