Back in Bradenton
Hi all....we arrived home from FLL/Miami a couple of hours ago. I finally waded through the email and now have landed here to check in.
TERRIBLE 'rita Friday night at Outback!!!.....I should have known better!
Saturday took us to South Beach in Miami to Joe's Stone Crab...sorry Jeff.....didn't mean to give Jacki any ideas. We crossed the causeway just before 4 p.m.....and there they were...in order: Explorer, NCL Sky and Sun, Carnival Triumph and Imagination....in all their glory. There may have been a 6th ship in, but I can't remember for sure. We had a fabulous dinner and as we were finishing up CruiseAholic called....good thing I had just dipped my fingers in the bowl and cleaned all of that crab off!!!
After a 'cruise' up Collins Ave. at idle speed(and progress), we headed back over the causeway only to be greated by all of the above mentioned 'ladies' UNDERWAY!!!!! What a sight that was!!!
Welcome home!! Glad you had a wonderful dinner. Sorry the rita's were not up to par. Don't know weather I envy you or not seeing all of those cruise ships but not sailing on one of them.
Pat-
Sounds like you had a great time!
I think we did a pretty good job for you, with the weather...
Isn't that drive across the MacArthur Causeway a heartbraker? You can't drive across on an Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, without crying...
