Bon Voyage basket

Some high school aged friends of my daughter's are going on their first cruise to the Caribbean on RCCL. We want to make them a little Bon Voyage basket. So far, we have disposable cameras, sunblock, extra ping pong balls, cheap sunglasses, and Cheez-it's. Any other great ideas out there? Thanks.

Hi Angela!

How about refillable drink containers (while in the basket, you could stuff them with other things), bonine, wet-wipes or waterless liquid soap, anti-sting meds, mints, a little notebook/pen for a cruise log, and my favorite: make them up some business type cards with their names and the ship info (ship name, dates of cruise) e-mail address, etc. for them to hand out to new friends.

If it is in your budget... walkie talkies. The ships are hugh! We bought a pair for my dad at Christmas at Best Buys. They were about $50.00 with a $30.00 rebate coupon. We love ours! Cool idea about the basket. Oh, maybe a soda coupon or photo coupon. You can purchase them on line through Carnival. Good luck!

Sticky notes come in handy for leaving each other messages...

Travel guide for the ports they will be visiting...

Inexpensive waterproof sport watches....

Waterproof containers....

Ziplock plastic bags for whatever...

i'm thinking a little bug spray wouldn't hurt...seems to be a hot commodity on some ships!
