Guys: Advise needed!

Guys... I need advise: I just bought a beautiful new gown for formal night. I was thinking of surprising my husband with a tux rental to wear as he has worn the same suit for formal dinner for our last two cruises. Cool idea?...or save your money for something else?

I know you asked for a "Guy's advise", but I would like to add my two cents. I would go for it. As long as you know all of his sizes you can rent a tux and it will be waiting for you in your cabin. My hubby was never a "tux" kind of guy. We rented one for our New Years Cruise and he really, really enjoyed it. I think he will wear one on all our cruises now. Have a great time and enjoy!

If you do order the tux (I would), just don't let him waste luggage space by packing the suit.

Also agree with the other posters, go ahead and order the tux, bet you will both make a great couple. Be sure to go get a "formal" picture taken on one of those nights too :-)

Guess I'm different. I would hate it if my wife rented a tux for me. I only wear a suit because it is expected, but a tux would probably kill me. Nothing that confines my neck and arms is really comfortable,

Then u certainly wouldn't enjoy a night with Mrs Kuki <G>

To Kym.. I wear a tux, because I bought one because I found they're less expensive than suits.
If hubby's comfortable in suits that's certainly adequate... I'd give him the money in casino chips <G>

You are my idle Divetex! We were at the mall and I jokingly said "hey, there's a tux shop. Why not get measured for a tux for the cruise. His response... babe, I'd rather spend the money going DIVING for the day" Then he asked if he needed one to go with my new dress. He is soooooo smart! Good diving to you! Four days until we leave! Excellent!!!!!!!!
