Default Message Board Updates

We had to change host companies for our message boards because we grew too big! So we are going through a transition period. Everything will be functioning as usal soon! Thanks for your patience.

It should only take another day or two to be back to normal.

Thanks, Paul. While you're at it, how about getting rid of that advertising frame on the right, and go with a banner at the top instead? Sure would make the text area easier for us. Just a thought.

Glad to hear it is just a bump in the road.......hey, isn't that great that we are growing up! Even my daughter has been frequenting the site too (mostly on the Carnival board). She said I got her addicted to the boards!

It is thanks to all you wonderful people that were are growing so fast and large. I say keep it up y'all and tell your friends, even those that don't cruise to come and visit us. Maybe we can show them what they have been missing! No matter how large we grow I can assure you that we will still keep it like a close family and always be there for each other. Lots of pride in being not only the most imformitive website on cruising, but also the friendliest site on the Internet!

And what is the new thread under "Europe" about a server? Is that Cruisemates or a strange spammer?

That's spam, with the new server we have new procedures to enter the admin part and edit boards to delete these things and were not able to do so until new instructions were given to us. You usually don't see spam or very lettle and only briefly as there are a few staffers that keep check on these things and delete these type posts to keep out boards free of junk like that.

Glad to know the current status of the boards is only temporary!!!!! I'd read them no matter what, but it gets to be a little hard on the eyes after a while. This site has been a tremendous help in planning and gathering information for my upcoming FIRST EVER cruise. Only 16 days and counting!!!!!

Why aren't I getting "replies" when someone posts after me on a thread?
