Just received a "fare watcher" email. Great fare $233 from Texas to Vancouver. Check your markets if you're heading to Canada. Look out Kuki, you might be having house guests!

Hi Mermaid,
I've been pricing airfare from Chicago/Vancouver and can't find anything under $500, what airline was that quoted from? Sounds super, also, was that a direct, non-stop?

Sorry Donna, the email did not specify which airline, and I did not go to the web site to check it out, before I deleted it. I have several "from here to there" fares that I "watch" via Travelocity's fare watcher service. They will send you an email when the fare goes up or down more than whatever you set the marker at. Of course, it is the lowest advertised fare and may not be for the date that you need to fly.
