[Mermaid]

A priest and a rabbi were on a luxury cruise, when the ship encountered a large storm and everyone ended up abondoning ship. It just so happened that the priest and the rabbi were on the same lifeboat.

The priest says that we should say a blessing for God has truely saved our lives. So being of 2 different religions, the rabbi suggest they have a moment of silent prayer. So they both bow they're heads, and when the prayer ended the priest blesses himself in the sign of the cross, and as he looks up, to his surprise, the rabbi does so also.

The priest asks in amazement "In your religion, I didn't think you blessed yourself in the sign of the cross."

So the rabbi replies "no that was not the sign of the cross, I was just checking: spectacles, testicles, wallet, watch."
