Ice Cream/Princess - Good News

Hi Everyone -

I know this is a sore subject for everyone . .. . Princess charging people for Hagaan Daaz ice cream near the pool area.

Well - I have no clue if this is true but I read on another board that someone was booking another cruise with the future cruise consultant who inquired if their cruise was fine. They said "yes, no complaints" and then asked what was the most frequent cruise complaint and the consultant said "charging for ice cream at Hagaan Daaz".

The consultant said that Hagaan Daaz signed a contract similiar to the other stores on the ship and that the contract is up sometime this year. She continued to say that Princess realized what a mistake that was and that they are planning on not renewing the contract and will probably offer something of their own "free".

I sure hope it is true!

Oh, I hope that is true! I think Princess's own ice cream is MUCH better than Haagen-Daz!

Self serve was great on the Radiance, My kids (and husand) had ice cream daily!! Princess would have many happy customers!!
