It may seem cliche but there's all sorts of things in our lives we don't say often enough.
..... I want to say thanks to the entire CruiseMates family ( that's ALL OF YOU) for sharing my passion for cruising. It's so nice to share our experiences, and our excitement for our upcoming cruises.
It's great to discuss the "facts" in all the topic specific message board folders, and then come over to "Chit Chat" and put my feet up, relax, and enjoy the coffee club get together here.
Just makes me more eager to get the opportunity to cruise with each and every one of you someday.
.... and I want to thank Anne and Paul for having the vision to create a website with such an amazing wealth of cruise information, with reviews and articles written by such diverse and talented writers. And then combining that with the "members community" areas for message boards and cruise reports.
Even though I "work" here I can't imagine how big a job it is to supply us with new and interesting articles, and information 4 and 5 times a week!!!!
... and I have to thank Anne and Paul for somehow coming up with the idea that a bartender from Canada, who wore antlers, could write anything legible or readable that would be of any interest to anyone <g>
... and I have to thank all of you who make up the evergrowing CruiseMates corner of the world for coming by and becoming friends.
... and of course I have to thank everyone for the tolerating the glitches we've experienced the past few days as Paul has worked so hard to add new features to the message boards.
... and I have to thank everyone who tolerated reading this rant ..
How often do we forget to say "I love you" to the people whom we love? How often do we forget to pet the cat we just kicked out of the way?
I am currently sleepless because of ugliness I (and you and a lot of others) saw on another board tonight.
I simply cannot understand that sort of mindset.
It only makes me happier that Anne and Paul DID have that vision and have made CruiseMates such a special place to be. Whatever I contribute is with an open heart and a sharing of the passion for travel. And I'm sure it's the same for everyone else.
Questions are good. Answers are good. Respect is even better.
Love the site and getting to know the people!! I would love to be able to know everyone personally!! Being a "people person" I am always wondering what everyone looks like, does for a living, where thay live, etc. The new profile feature gives me pics anyway!
Don't let the "other" board get to you, the other replies say it all actually, so don't dwell on it, its not worth it! I think someone there is just envious, JMHO!
Have to say that in a relatively short period of time this Cruisemates site has grown into the best cruise web-site on the internet and I feel very good to be a small part of it, thanks to everyone here!
Bravo to everyone here! I can't say enough good things about the group that posts here and what a great family it is. Diverse yes but always respectful of each other! And thanks to Kuki and Pamda for all their efforts on the "lei'd" crruise and making the countdown easier to take with fun posts! By the way, what a website! I'm impressed being technologically challenged as I am! Cruisemates is the absolute best! The people behind the scenes putting it together and the posters, everyone deserves a very big hand! Susan will be cruisin' on the Summit "Lei'd" Cruise
