Default upgrading

Is it too late to upgrade your cabin after you have received your tickets? Actually I only have 5 days before I leave. I was thinking of just checking when I got on the ship. I want to upgrade and get a veranda. Do you think its worth it?

You can check when you get to the ship - there may be cabins available to upgrade to - but you would probably have to pay a fee to upgrade. Personally, I've had insides and balconies and both are fine - a balcony for me is nice, but not a necessity.

If you really want a balcony - I would have your travel agent call ASAP and try to do it before the pier. You will have to pay the difference but at least you can get it or know if they are available as opposed to waiting until the pier.

Thanks for the feed back. I called my travel agent and he said they're all booked. He said he'd keep checking and keep me posted.
Thanks again

Hi Laurel,

Try asking your TA to put you on a waitlist for a balcony. The other way to get at the top of the wait list is to put the money down for th difference from your cabin for that balcony.

Ready to Steer towards another cruise
