LOVE the little hens! They are precious!
I used to have a pet duck named "Dimples". He even followed me to the mailbox every afternoon. I miss him. I had a little pool in the yard that he would swim in and if you went outside he immediately came to you.
I would love to have some acreage and have about 5 or 6 ducks again!

Carole, I had two pet ducks that me and my sister received one year for Easter. We lived across the street from my elementary school, so I came home everyday for lunch. It was my job to feed the ducks.....they would get so excited and pull at my dress as I brought them their food.

Speaking of Bunnies.... this is from French Impressionist Georges Seurat's (1859-1891) brief, if hideous, "Rabbits Drawn to Look Like People" period, titled Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Lapin (1884-86)

OUCH !!!

A gazillion years ago, one of my aunts (not known for her cognitive powers) gave my cousin two Easter chicks. They were named Pete and Repeat.

We lived on the farm, so when the chickens started pooping all over Auntie's carpets, they came to live with us. Wow, were they mean. (The chickens, not my aunt's family.)

I will show you the scar on my cheek from one of those little flyers.

I hate the whole concept of Easter chicks. I'm with PETA on this one.
