We love Carnival! We will be on the Inspiration the end of this month. I am thinking it would be this ship because it is bigger then the Celebration, the one we were on 2 yrs ago. But it would definately be a Carnival cruise lines ship. Char
For me it would be hands up "Explorer of the Seas"! Just too much to do, lovely cabins, good food, service and entertainment :-) Absolutely loved the pool deck, always plenty of loungers, didn't have to hunt around at 9AM for 2 together on the same deck as the pool, that says a lot for me :-)
I think I have to agree with Denise.....after seeing this "ship" it would be absolutely amazing not only have a deck but imagine putting your plants out on the balcony....and having that view of sunrise/sunsets all the time....then again maybe you wouldn't appreciate them as much
I have never been on it, but the Paradise. I am not a gourmet, but I would rather be in a non-smoking atmosphere if I am going to live there. I have only heard good things about the Paradise so far as food, service and overall atmosphere. I am wondering why I am going on the Spirit??? Oh yeah, got a great deal-and I have never seen Hawaii yet!
The Paradise without a doubt. My wife and I did the "Western Carribean" on it. The ship is one of the nicest Carnival ships we've been on. Best of all we could breath free anywhere on the ship and there was no stale smoke smell.
BTW, does the World have enough entertainment variety and lounges to keep people happy for Y..E..A..R..S at a time? Do they have Midnite Buffets? (I love to have my celery and carrot stick snack at midnite. ) Do they have working kitchens and if so, a grocery to buy essentials? Or do you shop at port and bring home yellow plastic bags from Shop Rite?
Please, any of you Mates who have bought into the World, please do tell.
I would like to maybe retire on the World, though wonder about the "crowd". My dream ship is one of the Windsong (spelling?) ships that travels about Tahiti. We saw one come into anchor at Cook's Bay when we were staying on Moorea. I've never been on her, but would LOVE the ports!
