Re: Mornin', Y'all
Well, I've been to sleep and have now started a new day. Morning to you all! Actually I awoke to a wonderful dream of blue skies, white sandy beaches, aquamarine waters and a pina colada in hand……nine days to sail-away! Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and bon voyage to all you who leave this weekend. Great sunset Tom! We had a great sunrise over the Nation's Capital this morning driving in!
Good morning from HOT Arizona. I am so tired of summer weather the first week of April. I know, Kuki doesn't feel sorry for me because he's tired of winter. But we've had 4 straight days of 94 degrees the first 4 days of April. Today it's supposed to cool off all the way down to 90! They're predicting a possible 100 by next Friday! That's too soon, and I'm feeling whiny about it! Over the years, I have traditionally held off turning on the air conditioner until May because we just have such high electric bills for so many straight months, but I may wimp out early this year.
OK, I'm done whining for a while. I hope everyone has a great Friday, a lead-in to a wonderful week-end. I'm off to work now.
Hey Dezertcruzer - wanna trade? We've had snow every day so far in April - today another 2 inches. I'd be more than happy to send you down a bit of the cold stuff to help out!
To all you folks cruising this weekend - think of us. We'll be thinkin' .... and wishin' .... and hopin'.
Have a great day and an even better weekend all.
Good Morning All!! Divetex and Cruisecam, I hope you have a wonderful weekend visiting the family. Blue sky here but the weather person said that wouldn’t last long, sure wish we had warmer temperatures. Wishing everyone a great weekend and Bon Voyage to those lucky enough to have a sail away this weekend, warp speed countdowns for the rest of us.
Last Good Morning post for me on "DRY LAND" for a whole week!!
This time tomorrow, I should be getting ready to land in Miami!! I'm kinda nervous about flying in the day of the cruise, but the flight arrives at 9:50, direct from Baltimore, and the ship doesn't leave until 4:00!
Believe it or not, still nothing in the suitcase yet!!!
Morning gang-- still cool and foggy here in San Jose Ca-- but not bad--- Great pic. Dive. Seems like lots of nice people are born in the month of April---Wish them all a Happy Birthday for me--- Cheers to all and have a great day
Take care and smile
Good Morning cruisemates! Approaching the end of the week, and hopefully the end of this head cold. My nose is tired of getting wiped. They keep promising a return to at least season temperatures next week.. we can hope.
Jennifer, the thing about HOT as compared to ice, snow and cold.... it's much easier to slide into another car or telephone pole on icy streets than hot ones<g>
Boy, Kuki, don't I know that! I HATE driving in snow. Don't forget, in Flagstaff, northern Arizona, where I grew up and where I learned to drive, we get an average of 183 inches of snow per year! Now, when I go up to Flag to visit my folks, if I see any of those little white flakes swirling in the air, I gather up my stuff, say my good-byes, and hit the road for home! I really, really hate to drive in it, so I DO sympathize! I hope things warm up for you soon.
Great (!) pic. Thanks for sharing it. Today was a little cloudy with some sprinkles in Boise, ID. Not a bad day. We still need the moisture here - wish it would get serious and really rain. Just as long as the rain stays here May 11-18 when we leave for our first cruise on Explorer. Can't wait!
Marilyn - not packing yet - I wouldn't be able to wait if I were!
Great picture, makes you just want to be on a beach! Cool and sunny here in NE Illinois but that is supposed to change tomorrow! Lots of things going on for everybody, I'm waiting for my vagabond sister to stop by on her way from Missouri back up to the UP. To all of you leaving on or getting ready for your cruise, bon voyage! For all of you with the colds/sinus trouble, be well soon! I think that covers it! Have a great weekend everyone! Sue
