Our cruise was wonderful - the best effer!

I think the Cozumel pier that Angelpug (Jaime) was referring to is the pier that Princess has been using for years. It is right on the main drag. What is different is that they built up duty free shopping stores there, along with a TGIF's and some other places. It is much more convenient then the pier Celebrity, RCCL or Carnival uses.

That's the pier, Theresa!! Haven't cruised on Princess, or even been in port with a Princess ship, so I only know the pier, way out of town!!

Theresa is correct. The pier has been there for awhile. The mall and pedestrian bridge, however, were not there on February 3, 2002. Pretty fast construction for Mexico.

Adding my Welcome home to the Threesome. I was at the "downtown" port in Cozumel on the Spendour of the Seas in March of / 99. Don't know how they figure who is going to dock there, but was surprised in /00 when on the Millenium that we were so far out of town. Haven't of course seen the bridge. But, as I recall was a new concrete walkway.

I have to agree with Theresa--------it was a wonderful cruise!! Met Theresa & the gang in the Wheelhouse Bar on Sun 4/7. It was nice to be able to put faces with the names on the board.
