Since our next family cruise is not until december on the Explorer I am thinking to take the kids on a mini cruise on Disney <maybe 3 or 4 days> Husband has to stay back so my questions are: Which boat is newer and better? Do they come with Internet? I don't care where the ship goes to. I am planning on staying on it and just relax and spend time with my kids. Is it true the cabins are bigger then most other cruise lines?
Thanks for any input. Happy cruising
Have done the Disney Magic two times and it is nothing short of fantastic. However, for a short cruise, you will have to go on the Wonder. It is the newer of the two ships. The Magic is beautiful, and I'm sure that the Wonder is also.
As for the cabins, they are a very nice size and some of them feature the split bathroom which makes it quite nice when getting ready.
Both ships are identical except one of the 3 restaurants has a different name on each ship. Do the 4 day cruise, the 3 day is much too short.....(You sail at 5PM and come back early the last day so the 3 day cruise actually is only 2 full days) We (2 adults in our 50's) have been on 4 Disney cruises already and are booked on the 7 day Western Caribbean in Sept 2002......The rooms are a wonderful size and layout, get a verandah if you can. The split bathrooms are wonderful.....(One has shower & sink other is sink & toilet) No casino on board, otherwise it's the tops! If you are interested, make sure to book a dinner at Palo's (the adult only restaurant) as soon as you board as it books up fast. (Extra charge) Contact us if you have any specific questions.....
Thanks so much for the info! My husband just booked 9 days on an island for us so there goes the disney cruise. But did you ever do a christmas disney cruise? This year we are on the Explorer but next years christmas cruise needs to be booked soon. I actually like the no casino thing since we don't gamble. And yes I would like a verandah
idea alot. Thanks again.....
