Default Leaving Kona

Hello cruiseMates,

We just set sail from Kona. Our next port is Hilo, the last day in Hawaii before 5 days at sea to Vancouver. Having cocktails and appetizers on the balcony served by the butler. (yes, rubbing it in) .. hehe

The weather on Maui was sunny the first day and started to cloud up on the 2nd day. We rented a car and had a great time. I reccommend it very much.

Kona was overcast most of the day but overall it was warm and pleasent. Shop was the name of the game today. We wanted to do the Atlantis Sub but with heavy clouds, under water would have not been as exciting.

Dined at the Normandie resturant last night and the extra charge was well worth the food and service.

The Luau was fantastic; food, drink and the show is not to be missed. We understand that between the CruiseMates reservation and the Celebrity excursion the traditional dining was empty the night of the Kuau.

Missed the CruiseMates cocctail party last night. Got back to late from Maui and early reservations for Normandie. I hear it was a great success. This CM group is one of the best, as all of you are back hating us for this cruise .. .

Went to the future cruise desk and are looking at booking another Celebrity cruise for March 2003. Of course we can not wait that long and have a reposition and Mex Riv cruise for September, 10 days.

More later,
Aloha to all of you

Thanks again Y2C for the update-can just see you on that Balcony being served by the butler. Wishing you calm seas once you start that 5 days to Vancouver. Phyll

Hi Y2C,
Be sure to let me know what you decide on in March, OK?

Glad to hear you are enjoying the islands, wish you had more sun shine with you, but you still have plenty of cruise days left :-)

for the updates!
