Tonight at 11 P.M. we held the Ugliest Aloha Shirt, Antler Decorating contests and the Mermaid Trivia finals. We were treated to many amazingly ugly Aloha shirts, and even more amazingly creative antler decorating. The group showed great spirit with their creations.
We saw antlers with lights, and dolls, and a wide variety of paraphernalia attached. What was truly remarkable was everyone was challenged to wear their ugly shirts and decorated antlers to dinner, and public areas throughout the ship for the entire evening. And showing great spirit, and disregard for personal humiliation, many CruiseMates did so.
Rather than being humiliated, those who did participate in the “Kukiness” were really the hit of the ship, amongst passengers and crew.
The crew of the Summit, to “a man” have been simply phenomenal! Accepting and assisting our group antics with open arms, and big smiles, and demonstrating a warm sense of humor. Everyone seems genuinely delighted to see our group having such a good time.
