and wonders why he stepped on the scale this morning.
It was really great to finally get off the ship and eat some of that great airline food on the way home. (one slab of sliced turkey on plain a stale roll with some unidentified cheese, a tasteless apple and six potato chips). Thanks to the ever resourceful pamda for purchasing some peanuts, m&m's, and raisins mixed in an unused barf bag for some instant trail mix to tide us over on the trip home.
It was, naturally, a great trip, and a great chance to meet many new friends as well as the old ones, who really did surprise the h*** out of pamda. Many photos will phollow in the days ahead, as soon as I unpack the digicam.
I was at the same table with Pamda and Queeg, and it WASN'T Queeg who ordered two of everything each night! Of course, certain people were too busy talking to eat much of anything, but we won't mention who we, er, they were!
You can have ALLLLL the chocolate on board if I can just have that goat cheese souffle for my appetizer, my soup, my salad, my entree, and my dessert. Oh yeah, the cheese course, too! I tried that in the Normandie, but they didn't go for it, so I had to suffer with the chateaubriand, the cheeses and the assortment of 7 different desserts, PLUS the extra little petit fours they give you, just as a filler-upper! Life is rough, but some of us are willing to suffer for the greater good of the masses.
