CruiseCam and I got home shortly before 8:00 this evening after a two-hour layover in the land of Joseph Smith and a 45-moinute wait in Dallas heat for a Super Shuttle. Might start unpacking in a few hours.....nah. Tomorrow will do.
We had a great pre-cruise vacation on Oahu, a wonderful cruise with our friends, including some new ones, and a nice lunch with Heather, Jake, BseaBob, and BseaMom on Friday. Yesterday, we had a nice sojourn to Victoria. No Orcas, but we did see one Minke whale and about 35 porpoises......along with a sea lion and 3 bald eagles. Nice day. Cold, misty rain all morning, but it cleared up for our group luncheon.
Beautiful sunset photos (and a lot of fun getting them) yesterday. I'll let Mermaid describe that activity for y'all.
Glad to see another lei'd cruiser checking in. I'll bet you have those souvineers unpacked at least. Those cute t-shirts for the little people..... Our flight home was a breeze and we had curb side pick-up by my SIL. In fact, I got lei'd AGAIN at the Austin Airport. She was waiting to lei us and greet us with many Alohas!
I HIGHLY recommend the Wyndam Airport Hotel for anyone with hotel needs at the SEA-TAC airport. What a deal through Hotwire.
Welcome Back!! Glad you and Cruisecam made it home safely. Now you have a little time to enjoy the grand children. I bet that was a great welcome treat. Rest up and lets see some of those great sunsets and sunrise pictures I know you have.
Glad you made it. Was great to see you again and meet Doug H and April (as well as the others) You took the wrong boat from Bellingham if you missed the whales. They were off point Roberts for several hours and there was a 40 pass. whale watcher boat from Bellingham there and I thought you guys might be on it. too bad. rest up..
ps thanks for lunch.. are you really sure it was your turn???
