I got a short reprieve. Kuki the Jr. Barbarian turned 16 today, and took his driver's test. Failed when his wheels went over the curb while parallel parking, so our streets our safe for another day or so.
Then by "dear" brother-in-law had to "kindly" offer him the gift of old Ford Taurus, they have laying around, because my nephew is picking up his new car tomorrow. A very nice uncle, but now I'll be faced with finding insurance for a new driver that costs less than a around the world cruise.
Went through that two years ago-- needed his licence to drive--- because I was going on a cruise and wouldnt be there to drive him to school--- Now in 9 days he turns 18-- which is even worse-- then the next day graduation----HELP --I dont think I can handle the pressure--- WAIT--- Crusie booked for the 29th of June---- thank goodness
Kuki-- I feel your pain and then some
even I had a Taurus once---
Son is driving the truck that we inherited from my day-- 98 Chevy Silverado-- because my husband prefers to drive his old 86 Ford diesel----- go figure--- but both are still working on the 62 Nova-----
Cheers and good luck
oh my son got a perfect score on his driving test and then his high school chose him to go to a Pro driving school --Sears Raceway--- at least there is some distance between CA and Canada---and they stressed saftey-------
