Carnival Celebration Cancels Cruises

Carnival has canceled the June 26th sailing of the Celebration. The Celebration is having propulsion problem on this week's sailing. Guests on the canceled sailing will receive a full refund, plus a 50% discount on a future 3-5 day cruise departing
before Dec. 20, 2003. Guests on the current sailing received a $100
shipboard credit. Some of this week's passengers decided to use
Carnival's Vacation Guarantee. This offers unhappy passengers the
option to disembark at the first port of call and receive the unused
portion of their cruise fare. Carnival also provides these passengers
air back to the port of embarkation. It is reported that "several
hundred" of the 1900 passengers took advantage of this option
