I was not in my car but a few minutes, when Bruce called me to tell me there is a manhunt going on in my hometown. It seems this man kidnapped 2 girls this morning, they escaped from the car, in my town, then he dumprd the car, and is on the run...Helicopters, dogs, swat teams are swarming all over..I stopped to pick up supper, and, wasdriving to my street, there was a major back log of cars, I think there was a roadblock...I turned around, and took another street..i got home and told Bruce to make sure the deck screen door was locked..he said. "its all set"..The news says he is armed and dangerous..I have woods behind my house, which he could hide in I am hoping my dogs don't have laryngitis tonight, and bark, till the cows come home, if they hear something.....I may sleep with one eye open, which lately, may not be a problem....

You take care of yourself and Bruce and praying that all will be well and they catch the guy real quick.
Several years ago, there were 4 fugitives that broke out of prison next to our hometown, and the men were on the loose for several days. They ended up finding them eventually, but come to find out, some of the men had hid out under the township police chief's back porch! That was really scarey when it happened.
Be very careful, and if there is anything suspicious, call 911 immediately. Take care!

Saw that on the news, Trip. Must be pretty scary that it's nearby. We live up in north central MA so it is a bit away from the action. Keep the doors locked tight and the dogs know what dogs are supposed to do.
I was all reved up for this..But I read your last post..glad they caught the scum bag and you and Bruce are allright and now you can sleep and the dogs can rest their vocal cords..that is pretty scary when something like that happens right next to you..
What a relief!! I read your initial post before any updates. I wanted to see what transpired, but I was thinking of you all last evening. I'm glad they've got the guy! Lynne
