Default Who turned on the steam???

Geez - just stepped outside here at work and it's hot and humid enough to start steam cooking veggies out there!!!! And they are predicting this to continue through at least the 4th of July....oh joy!

Hey, Lisa, it is ugly here in NE Illinois, too. I'm a mile from the lake and you'd think we would get a little "cooler near the lake" but not today.

Went to a benefit chuck wagon dinner/picnic type thing with my cousin and we lasted all of 2 1/2 hrs. It was awful, no breeze and being in the tents was really bad. I felt sorry for people working, but they were pushing free water like crazy which was a good thing! I'm sure they didn't want any cases of heat exhaustion. I'm glad I'm home, having my wine cooler and just relaxing! Sue

Same here in the subs of Ill. Heat index is well over 100 degrees, a good day to just camp inside the A/C, truly feels like a furnace once you step outside
