It is quite unlikely that you will have a cabin with a porthole unless you are on a much older ship.

Some of the lovely aging matrons of the fleet still feature them.

Now, here's an important question.

Are portholes only on the left-hand side of the ship when you are facing the pointy end?

Are the ones on the other side "starboard holes" ???

No, Pam. The ones on the starboard side are called round winders.

The "Millie" class of ship for Celebrity has large portholes....or round winders, as Tom calls them.
