This isn't bottled water, and yes you are nuts. THose are great for a keeping a regular supply of water, especially during the summer months.
Well.......truth be known, I always thought you were nuts Kuki.....

Carol,
While I'm sure they can be used to refil with regular tap water. In this case, it is bottled water. I asked, since it sits right next to the "human" water cooler.

As a dog breeder of Champion German Pinschers I can assure you that we have a number of these things placed all over the house and kennel. Great way to keep the water fresh and free from the yucky stuff in a regular bowl.

I forgot to ask... Do you train the dogs to press a little button to release the water?

Jim.. do you use bottled water for your dogs as well??

That's the part of all this that got me laughing. Probably because in our house even the adults don't get bottled water. Mind you, our tap water is VERY drinkable.

Our 11 year old daughter just told me she sometimes give bottled water to our dog as a treat and the dog loves it....Okayyyy..we do live on bottled water here in Florida due to the poor water quality...

Ok, I admit, during the summer months I give mine bottled water because it comes out iced cold and it is a nice treat for them. (We have the hot/cold dispenser)
:O)

It is only a way to ensure water is in their bowl, as the dog drinks the pressure releases more water into the bowl. The owner simply fills it again from the tap in a less frequent manner.

You get these in pert stores and thye are not bottled water containors though look like one.

One dog we know runs when it gurrgles..
As a concerned dog I've had to put yellow sticki on top to remind people to check my water level

If you have a larger-sized dog and keep your toilets clean, that's a dandy location for clear, fresh, cool water.

Unfortunately, they don't know enough to put the seat up and down.

Have to agree, we not only have had one of these for the dog, but the cat has one also. Keeps the water fresher, but we do fill it from the tap.

We have one for the cat but it isn't used as he flat refuses to drink anything but running water! We have to go and turn on the faucet for him. I am sure it has something to do with the wild in him as he is a F3 Bengel which is decended from a mix of domistic cat and Snow Leopard and he has quite a bit of the wild still in him. The dogs are just happy the water is clean. I use well water which is great in my area of Florida if you hit the right place. If you don't, then bottled water is a must for anything alive! <>

I must be behind the times. Or maybe it's a Canadian thing. Our tap water is pretty darn good, so no need to worry about it.
Hope no one tells our little Lhasso Appso that she's disadvantaged <G>

A friend of mine serves her dog filet mignon, so I don't find bottled water unusual!
