I'm trying to lose a couple of "tons" before our first cruise in Oct. Got me thinking of all the rediculous and dangerous things I have done to shed a few pounds?
What is the craziest or most drastic thing you have done to lose weight before a cruise or any time?
Before a trip to Puerto Rico years ago, I was deserate to lose that last 10 lbs, and thought I would try a fast. I ate vegetable broth and carrots every day for a week. What a disaster. I was very lightheaded and felt horrible. Another little side effect of my stupidity, ORANGE TINGED SKIN!!!
I - a long time ago - went on a bowl of rice with soy sauce a day diet. Got down to 102 pounds and was the meanest person you ever met! Very grouchy and very hungry! I did that two weeks before the cruise and a week later - 1 week before the cruise I ate back up to 108 lbs. I've learned that I'm not a nice person with little to eat so I try to just cut down portions or better yet eat more at lunch and eat only veggies or nothing for dinner. Also do arobic stuff - stretch, dance or treadmill - that really works off the calories! Debbie
