Default Mornin', Y'all

Good morning, everyone. It's supposed to hit 95 here today, with a heat index of 106. Just another typical July day in Texas, I guess. Hope you folks up north get some relief from the heat soon. Anyway, have a great day today. How about starting it with a San Juan Islands sunset photo taken from an aft balcony? Enjoy that coffee!

Good morning mates. Tom, I am needing to see one of those sunrises soon in person! I am getting antsy!

Talk about HOT. When I arrived back at the commuter lot last night it was 101 at 5 p.m.! The heat index must have been through the roof. Another hot one in store for us to day but we may get some strong thunderstorms. We sure need the rain.

Had to drag myself out of the house today....Bill got to stay home and wait for the Verizon tech. Having interior telephone line problems. I sure wanted to stay home with him, but I get my turn on Friday. Oh well, have a great Tuesday y'all!

Will trade rain and cool temps for some heat. It´s the middle of the summer here in northern Germany and the weather is more like late fall. Enjoyed the photo!

Good morning everyone! Ahh what a difference a day makes - this morning woke up to 58 degrees with a brisk NE wind and the dewpoint down in the 40's - high today in the low 70's! Can you say r-e-l-i-e-f? But, still no rain.

Good morning cruisers....Enjoyed a nice family dinner at home last night with my two "children". Can't remember the last time just the four of us sat down together for a meal, especially on a Monday night. Began the task of addressing wedding invitations after dinner. I'm beginning to realize that my daughter really is getting married!!!

One of her friends is engaged, and planning a small wedding. She is trying to talk him into getting married on a cruise, and inviting them along! I knew I brought her up right. lol

Very nice photo this morning Tom. I can certainly envision myself on that balcony.

Good morning, cruisers. We're looking at a relatively mild 104 or so today, although the humidity is up. It's our monsoon season, when we get a lot of moisture from the southeast. What is this heat index you all are talking about? That's not a term I ever hear used around here.

Good Morning cruisemates ! Cowtown is basking in gorgeous weather still. Temps high 70s to low 80s. It is really gorgeous now. Stretches like this help us to forget some ugly winter/spring weather. Guess that's how they suck us into living here another year <G>

Jennifer - The Heat Index is the apparent temperature based upon temp and humidity. Since y'all have no humidity to speak of, I understand why you aren't familiar with the term. <vbg>

Bist du schon länger in Amerika? War noch nie in Fulda...immer nur vorbei gefahren wenn wir nach Nürnberg mussten!

Morning everyone.

Can't get weather any better than we are having today here in Wisconsin. :-)

Sounds like it's on the way to the east coast-hope you all keep sheltered from any serious storms.

Got back to my routine of going to the fitness club this morning. Ugh! I've missed it for about a month now with travel and then subbing at the preschool. I'll use any excuse I can come up with to avoid it.

Great picture Divetex. We head out for a week on Cape Cod in a little over two weeks. I can't wait to be there and be by the salt water.

Sue & Suzanne I'm going to have to get my German friends to come and interpret your messages. Glad you found each other. :-) & all of us.

Phyll

I am quite experienced with Iowa sweetcorn, coming from the Iowa farm. I can tell you that Jersey corn is even sweeter.

Oh, and have a great day, everyone !!!
