Is the glass blowing factory in Cabo San Lucas worth seeing? Princess offers a tour of many sights including the factory. The only one of interest to us is the glass blowing, but thought we would just go on or own by taxi.

It was ok---good if you have never seen glass blowing before-- did the Sea Princess this Jan. and took the tour--- really sorry I miss the Giggling Marlin and other more local tourist places-lol-- bar wise- but theres alway a next time someday.
In Cabo, you can just about walk antwhere in town, unless the glass factory has moved in recent years, you can walk there too. There is also a very nice glass blowing factory in P.V. in the downtown area, just off the east end of restaurant row. The nicest shop for hand-blown glass, in my opinion, is "Galleria de la Crystal." It is in P.V. too, maybe two blocks from the glass blowing factory.
We did the glass tour on Royal Carribean (including a tour of San Jose del Cabo). It was nice for an overview of the city etc. But because Princess is there only a half-day (we were on the Sea Princess in February) I would book the glass bottom boat ride on the tender pier for $10 each, and then walk around town.
