Tropical storm Dolly is getting better organized and upper level winds are favorable for her to develop into a hurricane. This is NOT good news for us cruising the Caribbean this week. Unless of course the Captain decides to reroute the ship to Halifax, Nova Scotia and Labrador.
C'mon Dolly, give us your best shot. We'll still have a super time.
I work at a TV station, just check with the meteorologists to see if they thought Dolly was going to interrupt our cruise this weekend. They studied the maps for a few minutes and believe she won't reach Eastern Caribbean until we're headed back to Miami ... then they said no promises, or course, that's why it's called a forecast.
i think dolly is far enough away not to affect us (at the beginning anyway) what concerns me is this low pressure that is in the gulf....i heard the weather channel talking about it today...they said they have to keep a very close eye on it...it was very favorable for development.....anybody with more info on this?
