Default Hello Dolly.... Well hello Dolly...

It's not so nice to see you at all ! ! ! ! !

Tropical storm Dolly is getting better organized and upper level winds are favorable for her to develop into a hurricane. This is NOT good news for us cruising the Caribbean this week. Unless of course the Captain decides to reroute the ship to Halifax, Nova Scotia and Labrador.

C'mon Dolly, give us your best shot. We'll still have a super time.

Regards,
Thomas

Thomas, if I start blowing from the European side, and you from the US side, will it help?

ROFL!!!

I suppose it couldn't hurt. But in my case how do you blow with a bottle of beer in your mouth?? Have you ever had that swig of beer go up into your nostrils? That's how I feel all the time <g>

Regards,
Thomas

I work at a TV station, just check with the meteorologists to see if they thought Dolly was going to interrupt our cruise this weekend. They studied the maps for a few minutes and believe she won't reach Eastern Caribbean until we're headed back to Miami ... then they said no promises, or course, that's why it's called a forecast.

What an adventure ... See you out there, Thomas!

Still far enough out that it shouldn't affect cruises until late next week, unless she picks up speed and then all bets are off!

i think dolly is far enough away not to affect us (at the beginning anyway) what concerns me is this low pressure that is in the gulf....i heard the weather channel talking about it today...they said they have to keep a very close eye on it...it was very favorable for development.....anybody with more info on this?

Not much more than what you have heard - there is a low level circulation in the gulf and it bears watching.

Hurricaine-what's that?
