Default Are u a one trick pony? Or do U like to RIDE RIDE RIDE

When it comes to cruising.... are you a one trick pony? (Prefer to cruise only one cruise lines), OR do you like to try them all? Which have you tried??

While I admit there's some cruise lines I enjoy more than others, I like to get around.

Celebrity 8 times
RCI 11 times
Carnival 10 times
Princess 4 times
HAL 3 times
Seabourn 2 times
Radisson 1 time
Costa 1 time

#5 on Princess coming up in 18 days

I'm open to try them all, but at this time my preference is Royal Caribbean.

Have cruised on:

Premier (first cruise) also did a Disney land vacation along with it.
Princess
Celebrity
Royal Caribbean

I, too, am open to trying as many as possible. Currently, we are scheduled on Princesss, but we have also sailed with:

Sitmar (before they became Princess) Fairwind, Dawn, Royal, Star, Grand
RCI Nordic Prince, Vision of the Seas
Sunline Stella Solaris
HAL Masdaam, Rotterdam
Cunard QE2

I am another RCI lover, BUT I am open to MOST ships...I could not sail just one line, and honestly don't know why some people get stuck in a cruise rut gee, is that even possible? I think I am forgetting a couple but....

RCI, Majesty [2] Soverign, Enchantment
Carnival, Fascination [2] Celebration,Tropicale [oy vey]
NCL.Seaward
HAL, Westerdam
Celebrity, Mercury
Princess, Golden, Grand. Sea

Since it seems that Carnival owns just about everybody, aren't most of us one trick ponies?

I guess you could say we lean towards Celebrity, but, that said, we have done several other lines more than once.

Celebrity 4 (plus the next one in Sept)
Princess 2
NCL 2
Carnival 3
Windjammer 1
Staten Island Ferry ?????
NY Circle Line ????
Do those last two count?

Kuki:
You know my motto: "I want to try all the ships and all the lines and then start over."

So far I have been on:
Princess
NCL,
Celebrity
Royal Caribbean
Renaissance
Carnival

So far, Celebrity is my overall favorite but I have enjoyed all of them.

Take care,
Mike

I'm with Mike! So far, we've only done Carnival and Celebrity, mainly because the low prices/short cruises are on Carnival, and we wanted something upscale when we went with Celebrity.

Cheers,
Michelle P.

My 1 st cruise was on a ship called Sapphire (France Croisieres) , 4 years ago.
I caught a extreme and non curable virus which took me then to :

The Splendour of the Seas (twice)- Royal Caribbean
The Constellation - Celebrity
The Costa Europa (twice again) -Costa
and very soon to Le Diamant ( ex Song of Flowers- Radisson) - Tapis Rouge

But my favorite is still the Splendour of the Seas.

And I'd love to try any of the Crystal fleet... !!!

Royal Caribbean - 7
Carnival -5
NCL - 4
Holland American - 3
Premier-1
Cunard-1

will be on the Caribbean Princess this fall
planning on Oceania - next spring

So far I've done Carnival Fantasy, Carnival Esctasy, RCL Sovereign of the Seas (didn't like it), Carnival Paradise, Carnival Sensation (2x), Disney Wonder (My Favorite), Carnival Victory. Did Carnival for the best price but my children said they really are bored with Carnival. We all enjoyed Disney the best. Doing Disney Wonder 8/19/04 and trying RCL again with VOS 12/18/04.

I too want to try lots of them. So far I have sailed only 2 lines, Carnival and Royal Caribbean, with the best being the Explorer of the Seas, I just love the Voyager class. I have 2 more RC cruises booked, and would like to try Princess after those. After that who knows . . . . . . . . . . . I've also caught the non-curable virus! And I don't want to be cured! ! !

Carnival--Destiny 4/03
Holiday 4/04
Sensation 5/04

Royal Caribbean--Explorer of the Seas 5/03
Majesty of the Seas 3/04

I'm not picky - I'll try them all! So far I've been on RCCL once, HAL once, and Carnival 3 times. Next one is Cunard. Would love to try Princess and Celebrity, maybe with a CM group cruise!

I guess I am a creature of habit....9 prior cruises all on Carnival. Number 10 in a few days....also on Carnival.

I have looked at others, but always find the same itin on CCL for a whole lot less. I understand why people go on RCCL, due to all the extras (rock climbing wall, putt-putt course, etc), but those don't entice me - they are all things I can do at home, so why pay extra to have them at sea?

My preference is for Radisson Seven Seas.

Sailings to date:

Radisson Seven Seas - 5 times
Royal Carribean - 1 time
Costa - 1 time
Chandris - 1 time

I am only 805 days behind Ray and Helen!

I'd like to have the money to try them all, I think! :-) I do have my favorites, Princess and RCI. I've sailed on NCL quite a few times but years ago, when there weren't so many choices!!!

Princess 5
NCL 5
RCI 4
Carnival 1
Celebrity 1
Costa 1

The last numbers are likely to stay that way! I'd always go back to Princess, RCI and some day I'll give HAL a try.

I've always said I want to try them all, but as I shop for future cruises, the good prices on Carnival always bring me back...

I *would* like to try RCL next time around, and Princess is also on my agenda.

Personal choice dining doesn't appeal to me, so NCL isn't high on my list. Celebrity maybe with the dh for a "romantic" cruise.

My first cruise was on Celebrity Century, which got me hooked. I will be sailing again on her this Nov. But I do want to try others. We got a great deal on a 4 day cruise down to Baja Calif. on RCL Monarch of the Seas this coming Jan.
