Default Tux Rental on board ship

I've read in the past that there is a service that does Tux rentals on board cruise ships. Does anyone have the info. on how to go about this and what the costs are?
Wouldn't you know it I'm dieting and exercising to get into my evening clothes and my husband who eats like a teenager and doesn't exercise has lost 2 inches in his waist.
It's not FAIR!!!

Tux rentals are availble on some -- but not all -- cruise ships. Carnival rents tuxedos, but I don't think Princess does. Last I heard, the price on Carnival was around $60 per week. I suggest that you call the toll-free number of the cruise line and ask.

I don't have any experience with this company, but you might also look into http://www.cruiselineformal.com/.

Cheers,
Michelle B.

You can rent a tuxedo for use on Princess ships. It is an outside company that handles it. You must pre-order before your cruise and they will have it waiting for you in your stateroom when you arrive. If it is Princess you are inquiring about, please let me know and I will get you the name of the company.

Just a note to keep in mind that if you are or think you might become habitual cruisers (not difficult), the breakeven point for buy vs. rent is somewhere around three rentals.

Default BUY BUY BUY

I agree with the last post: buy your tux. Bought mine a couple of years ago. Less than most suits. This weekend, went out and picked up a white dinner jacket. Now I'm set.

I agree with the last posts too. If you plan to cruise on a regular basis, it makes no sense to rent. Buy one. It will fit and look like it's yours, too!

Usually when you get your docs there's a brochure and order form in the packet. You can also order on-line through your cruise line or by phone. My husband ordered his the last time by phone when we got our cruise docs. It was delivered to our cabin within an hour after we boarded.

You'll look great! Tuxes are worth the money.
