Default Norwalk Virus Question

Have any of the outbreaks of Norwalk virus been traced to employees, guests, etc. With all of the terrorist threats these days, it makes me ponder if these outbreaks could be less than accidental in nature. This may sound paranoid, but it does make one wonder...

I understand your concerns, but this Norwalk thing has been going on for 4 years on some ships when they sail in Alaska.

Chuck, from what I understand, the origin of the virus on the Amsterdam (as determined by the CDC) was a passenger.

If you were a terrorist, would you waste your time with a small potatoes bug that does no more than give you GI distress for a couple days?

Terrorists are in the business of making a big splash. This doesn't qualify.

According to the Wall Street Journal article yesterday, this virus is the second most common ailment reported in the general population-- not just cruise ships. I do not understand this class action suit against HAL. We just got back from a 14-day canal cruise on Infinity and Chuck was ill the last four days with a throat infection. Wouldn't think of suing.

Norwalk virus is a rather benign virus. Not something a terrorist would use to strike terror in a population.
