Decorated her room @ the hospital today - Happy BD banners strung across, over the bed & on the walls. Made her a small plastic champagne glass of apple juice w/a paper umbrella in it & we had presents. It brightened her up but the belly started to swell after the apple juice. Surgeon saw her today-thinks the gallbladder is giving a problem on top of the obstruction but all the tests as far as the gallbladder goes are negative but "looks like a duck & acts like a duck" if you know what I mean. CT scans tomorrow - she "enjoyed" a glass of phosphosoda (with the umbrella) to get rid of yesterdays barium (mmmm yum!) Printed out the well wishes for her & read them to her & that put a smile on her face too - thanks everyone.
Ooooh Mike, pardon the pun: "I hope everything comes out all right"!
I hope the poor girl doesn't need to have a barium enema, that's gotta be one of the worst tortures known to man (and woman!)
Wishing her a quick, painless recovery...
Hi Mark & Deb, Sounds like she enduring the medical tests okay. My fear is THAT test-you know...-the one that comes UP the wrong way!! Hope she does not have to have one!!( I also hope I never do either!!)

Hi Mark and Deb, Best wishes for your daughters swift recovery. It was nice that she could enjoy her birthday. Hope she is well soon and enjoying the rest of her summer.
