I cheering you on. I think you look absolutely gorgeous just the way you are, but I know weight is a personal thing. Keeping the pounds off when you are not to far from your goal is the best plan. Sure wish I had done that. Go for it, ML!
Now you know my feelings on how much you need to lose weight! But if you feel you must I'll cheer you on. I know there is nothing you can't accomplish if you put your mind to it. Good luck.

I'll cheer you on but of course, I should be cheering myself on, too! I thought you looked terrific at Thanksgiving but as Phyll says that is a personal thing!
I need to get motivated before the Brilliance trip and try to lose a few pounds, too!!! :-)
Lately I've been a carb fanatic, not a good thing! Yesterday it was pizza and ice cream!
Today I think it will be juice and veggies!!! :-)
I 'll cheer you on too-- but dont want to find the weight you lose---- somehow my body seems to find those unwanted pounds---- and I have enough of my own--- guess today is a good day to start a diet too---- food that is----lol
Cheers to you--- no matter what

Studies have shown people live longer (and better) lives when they live stress free, or with minimum stress. When people diet they are under a lot of stress to lose weight, not eat fats, not eat sugars, exercise regularly, stay away from carbohydrates, eat green vegetables, blah, blah, blah.
Rid yourself of the stress lady! Eat what you want and don't stress over extra poundage. If you need moral support from us to stay on a diet I can tell you are much too stressed out about your weight. Forget the diet. Live the rest of your life without stressing over what foods you intake. You may get larger but for the remainder of your life you're living without the extra stress and eating what you want....and that's much more fun!!
Hi There is some truth to what Thomas says however, having a healthy weight can help you avoid health problems....very serous health probelms.
I wanted to see ALL my Grand Kids so I have reversed my desturctive eating and lack of excercise.
I tell my wife...If you don't bring it into the house, I won't eat it. Lack of will power.
Any weight loss progarm can help I am sure, but eliminating the temptations is probably the best advice I can give. I have lost of a little bit more than 25 pounds since a very bad time last Feb. I cut off all food with more than 30 grams of fat per serving. It's listed on the label. If I could totally give up beer...i could probably shed more. I have cut way down on the barley products. No snacks, McD's, Burger King...deep fried stuff...Buffalo (very hard to give these up) wings.....chocolate....chips and dip....Little Debbies was another tough one...and I walk on a tread mill 30min, 3X a week.
I don't look like a chipendale but I feel sooooo much better.
I have a 5-step diet for you MaryLou that absolutely will work.
1. List your 10 favorite foods
2. List your 5 favorite drinks
3. List green vegetables that look like marsh grass, fur balls or little trees.
4. List water
5. Don't consume 1 or 2, eat only 3, and drink only 4 ! ! !
I want to thank each and everyone of you!!!! You made me laugh and I appreciate all the support. I first joined Weight Watchers in July of 2001. I met/exceeded my goal and became a lifetime member. It was just over the holidays that I went completely off program. I'd like to lose around 5 lbs. before Brilliance. But what I would like to do most is to begin walking on the treadmill again. I really don't feel all that stressed about those few extra pounds...but I would like to keep it at only a few. I do not want to gain back the 37 pounds I originally lost. I feel much better where I am now and just want to lead a heathly lifestyle. Again, thanks for all the words of encouragement and the laughs.
