After my 12/15/02 cruise on the Victory I e-mailed Carnival to let them know that our waiter Domingo-Pacific Dining Room table 340 and Galina-Spa Deck went beyond their duties in making my family's vacation very special. My grandmother is in the end stage of cancer. Also, to complain about the smoke in the casino and the hours of operation for the Yanqtze Wok. Three days after I emailed Carnival - I recveived a response letting me know that the message was received and forwarded to someone else. Today I received an email from a Special Advisor informing me that my comments have been shared with the immediate supervisors for Galina and Domingo. Also, my complaints have been noted. I was told to contact guest relations 45 days prior to departure of my next cruise to make the necessary arrangments. We are looking into the Spirit- 12/17/03 Southern Caribbean.
When you contact guest relations you will be asked if anyone in your cabin is diabetic and if you drink alcohol. Generally they give you a bottle of wine of champagne and/or some chocolate covered strawberries.
Rick, I would love to go on the Paradise, the problem is we always go as a group. My parents never know if a smoker signs up to go. This past cruise, I believe that we had about 3-4 who smoked out of 53. I just tolerated the smoke. I was in the casino for a total about 2 - 3 hours the entire week.
