I have a dilemma......
I usually do my own air for my cruises. Now, for the Panamaniacs cruise in October, I was searching airfare today. If I book now, I can get a r/t MKE to FLL for $166 - a very very very good fare! But, it is on USAir and with them in Chapter 11 and it being so early on, I'm not sure I want to book. If I want to pay $10 more I can get a trip on Northwest that is equivalent times, etc.....but again it is so far out, but the prices are fantastic. What would you do?
Crown Princess 1/18/14....the NEW Me, Myself and I cruise!
I had the same problem booking my air to Miami in March. If I were you, I'd book with Northwest Now. Like Jim said, $10 is a small price to pay for peace of mind.

I would also do Northwest. Those are terrific fares, Lisa. $10 isn't much in the long run.
Thomas, both USAir and United are in bankruptcy. I think the reason USAir's planes are so full now is because they've drastically cut the number of flights. I flew on them in November with no problem, but they are flying fewer flights.
Now posting as MichelleP.
Lisa, don't hesitate even this far out. Go with Northwest and book it. Each day you get closer you will see the prices going up! Sure sometimes there are specials down the road but you can't count on that, go for it girl!
