Default safes in cabins

Hello

Just wondering how safe are the safes and who would have access to it. I don't really want to carry all my money with me and I would like to leave it in my room.

What kind of key do they give you. Feb 16th and were off to dream land on the Destiny.

Thanks

Seems like they are pretty safe to me Sudsy.

You just punch in your own 4 digit code. Nobody else will know it. If you goof it up or forget it they will have someone from the pursers office come and open it for you. I know this from experience.

We always leave our valuable in the safe in our cabin and have never had any problem. It sure beats the old days when we had use a safe deposit box in the purser's office.

I love the safes in the rooms. No one can get into them but me.

Some work with a code you input... some with a swipe of the credit card... none with a key that I know of. They are quite "safe"!

The safes on Carnival's Fantasy use a key. You have to ask your room steward for the key and he will ask for it back the night before you disembark.
